r1 <br />LJ <br />Exhibit H <br />Wildlife Information <br />There has been a significant amount of mechanical and human <br />activity on the property since the mine was opened i~ the late <br />1950's. This has caused a possible reduction of sum~er popula- <br />tion of wildlife on the project area. Even with thi~ history, <br />wildlife is abundant in the general vicinity. Same of the <br />species which have been sighted are as follows: <br />mule deer <br />elk <br />big horn sheep <br />snowshoe hare <br />yellow belly marmont <br />numerous rodents <br />red fox <br />coyotes <br />• bear <br />ptarmigian <br />red tail hawk I <br />humming bird <br />sparrows <br />Canadian jays <br />various unidentified hawks <br />Due to the elevation (1].,500 to 12,000) no r~ptiles or <br />amphibians are expected nor have any been sighted. <br />• <br />Since the mining season is from early June untili the first <br />part of October, the project area is abandoned for eig t months a <br />year. This leaves the property free from human activity two- <br />thirds of the year. <br />I <br />There is some possibility that deer and elk migrations have <br />been effected due to past and proposed operations. here is a <br />18 <br />
