<br />83~3~ <br />a bermed-topsoil stockpile will cover 1.5 acres. <br />R After the third year of operation five to ten acres <br />u will be available for reclamation work and will be topsoiled <br />and reseeded in accordance with the approved plan. The top- <br />soil to be used, after the third year of operation for recla- <br />mation, will be that taken from the surface of the next <br />disturbed area that will be mined. The bermed-topsoiled <br />stockpile will be life of mine and will not be disturbed <br />prior to cessation of mining. <br />The mining phase will continue for approximately twenty <br />years and will proceed with an average of five-acre incre- <br />ments as outlined above. After the third year reclamation <br />will follow with the same acreage reclaimed as disturbed <br />(approximately five acres/year). <br />The thickness of the material to be mined is approximately <br />25 feet consisting of weathered arkosic sandstone. The mater- <br />ial will be used for road base or asphalt material. The oper- <br />~j ator does not anticipate any overburden material. There is <br />u no material that will be mined that is not used in production <br />except for the topsoil. <br />a The deposit being mined is not considered a sedimentary <br />deposit. <br /> <br />D-2 <br />
