a <br />a <br /> <br />EXHIBIT D ~~j-3y <br />Q MINING PLAN <br />Mining will be conducted from the westerly portion of <br />the property toward the east. Scrapers will remove and <br />stockpile 11-14" of topsoil from 83 acres of disturbed area <br />(including plant area, pit and haul road) prior to the <br />removal of aggregate material. Dump trucks, loaders and <br />scrapers will transport the mineral material to the opera- <br />tional area. <br />a The screening plant and asphalt plant will be initially <br />Q located on about 2 acres near the western end of the area <br />and will be periodically moved to maintain close proximity <br />to the source of material. <br />a Earthmoving will be primarily topsoil removal and stock- <br />piling in a berm to be used as a visual barrier on the north <br />a boundary of the permit area. Subsequent aggregate material <br />to be moved will be transported to the plant for processing. <br />There will be no water diversions or impoundments on the <br />a site. <br />a It is anticipated to work approximately five acres per <br />year with an occasional ten acre area as a maximum.
