• 2.04.7.2 SURFACE WATER HYDROLOGY, continued <br />The difference in water quality between a lox flox and a high flox condition <br />can be observed. The moat obvious difference 1s the increased suspended <br />sediment load during the high flox event. Decreases of certain elaments•such <br />as bicarbonate and calcium are probably the result of dilution by the <br />increased flow. Whereas increases in elements such as aluminum and zinc are <br />most likely caused by increased availability of metals in the higher suspended <br />loads. <br />• <br />3 <br />
