<br />• 6. "Dimensions of any significant disturbance to the land <br />surface." <br />a. Pit excavations - mining will commence in the south- <br />east corner of the permit area. A maximum of 2-1/2 - 3 A <br />will be stripped at any one time. Mining will proceed <br />west and north. <br />b. There will be no mine benches or impoundments. <br />c. Stockpiled materials are not expected to exceed <br />10,000 - 15,000 tons at any one time. <br />d. There will be no waste rock or disposal area. <br />7. "Dimensions of any existing or proposed roads that <br />will be used for the mining operations." <br />The existing access road from Union Street in the south- <br />east corner of the property is approximately 24' in <br />width. No other existing or proposed roads will be in- <br />volved with the operation. <br />EI. "Water to be used in con~unetion with the operations, and <br />source." <br />• No water will be required for this operation. If any <br />should be required by the custom crusher, it will be that <br />operator's responsibility. <br />9. "Ground water encountered and/or surface water inter- <br />cepted." <br />As stated in "Site Description - 3", this will be a dry <br />pit operation with no effect on water rights, drainage or <br />hydrology of the area. A similar operation which ad9oins <br />on the south provides clear evidence that no groundwater <br />will be encountered. No surface water will be inter- <br />cepted. <br />10. "Compliance with applicable Colorado water laws and <br />regulations governing injury to existing water rights." <br />See 9 above and "Site Description - 3". <br />1:1. "Refuse and acid-forming or toxic materials, exposed and <br />disposal." <br />No refuse <br />involved <br />strictly <br />. chemicals <br />Sand and <br />and/or acid-forming or toxic materials will be <br />in this operation. As stated before, it is <br />a sand and gravel dry pit operation with no <br />required for processing or refuse generated. <br />gravel are basically inert materials. <br />
