MINING PLAN
1
2
• 3
4
F~
"Mining Dates."

EXHIBIT "C"
Mining is pro9ected to commence upon completion of the
entire permitting process, which is anticipated to be
mid-summer of 1992. Present projections are for 25-year
life of the operation. Obviously business demand could
-shorten-this-geriod~iamatically. It is anticipated that
in the future, the operator will request conversion from
a 110 to a 112 Regular Permit.
"Topsoil salvaged for use in the reclamation process."
It appears that 9" - 18" of topsoil encompasses the ma-
~ority of the site. This topsoil material will be
segregated and stockpiled in designated areas on the pit
perimeters for replacement in the reclamation phase.
These topsoil stockpiles will be located separately from
other stockpiles, out of the way of mine traffic.
"Thickness of overburden or quantity of waste rock."
No waste rock is anticipated in this operation.
Overburden depth varies from 0 - 10'. The overburden is
expected to be used in base course material.
"Thickness of the deposit to be mined."
The deposit appears to be 8' thick on the eastern perim-
eter and increases to 25'+ depth in the ma9or portions of
the ore body.
"Ma9or components of the mining operation."
a. Access is from Union Street to the southeast corner
of the property where operations will commence.
b. The permit area encompasses approximately 9.9 A,
which includes 3/4 - 1 A disturbed previously.
c. Office, shop/maintenance buildings - none presently
on site or proposed in.the future.
d. Plant and processing facilities. The applicant pro-
poses to have a custom crusher move in a portable
crushing and screening plant to process material to meet
market demand.
