(iii) Minor Disturbance 2 - 4 A -will include at the most, fine grading and seeding. <br />Reclamation will follow mining closely as possible, consistent with operations. There have <br />been areas withing the permit boundary mined by others in yeazs past. The applicant does not plan <br />to reclaim this activity of others. <br />(e) Approximate timetable to describe the mining operation <br />This permit azea constitutes a major red-burning clay deposit for the applicant, which can provide a <br />supply for the next 75 yeazs or more. The State lease on the south and a portion of the Patton lease <br />on the north will be opened at approximately the same time after permit approval. The BLM lease <br />azea is projected as the final phase, along with the balance of the Patton lease. As cited eazlier, CRS <br />34-32.5-112(b)(VIII) states: A timetable estimating the periods required for various stages of the <br />mining operation. The operator shall not be required to meed the timetable, nor shall the timetable <br />be subject to independent review by the Boazd or Office." <br />(f) Pre-Mining and Mining Plan Maps <br />The deposit varies in different azeas from 6' - 40' in thickness. Overburden varies from 1' - 5'. The <br />stratum beneath the material to be mined is sandstone. However, the locations depicted in this <br />application are based on present geologic information available to the applicant. There may be <br />variations in location as mining and geologic information becomes available. <br />(g) Primary and secondary commodities to be extracted. <br />Clay for face brick production will be the primary product. Some other rock products may be <br />removed in the future. <br />(b) Name and describe the intended use of all expected incidental products to 6e extracted. <br />.Clay for face brick will be the primary product, as stated above in (g). Other rock products would be <br />used for construction aggregates. <br />
