Section 780.18(b) Continued <br />pasture and rangeland. It is used for general weed control. At the Kerr Mine <br />it has been used on all thistles identified and sprayed to date. Kerr uses it <br />exclusively around standing or flowing water. <br />• Picloram ITordonl - A systemic, selective herbicide used for control of deep- <br />rooted broadleaf weeds in pasture and rangeland. Primarily used for <br />controlling noxious perennial weeds such as Canada thistle, whitetop, and <br />field bindweed. Also may be used for general weed control. Kerr uses it in <br />conjunction with 2,4-D when spraying dryland areas. <br />The mixture and application rate per acre for the above chemicals is: <br />• 50 gallons of water <br />• 2 quarts of 2,4-D <br />• 1 quart of Tordon 22K (not used when spraying around water) <br />• 1 pint Sprayfuse 90 (wetting agent) <br />• 1 pint Spotting dye <br />Weed control agents will be applied in accordance with manufacturer's <br />recommendations and guidance from the Jackson County Weed Control Agent <br />relative to application rates and timing. <br />Annual Results - Annual results of the Noxious Weed Control Program are <br />summarized and included in the Annual Reclamation Report submitted to the DMG <br />every January. The annual summary includes: <br />• Areas Managed (sprayed or controlled) <br />• Type of Control -mechanical, chemical, etc. <br />• Type and amount of chemicals <br />• Map and narrative description of infestation areas and success of the control <br />program <br />Management Plan for Reclaimed Areas <br />Areas to be returned to rangeland will be grazed or otherwise treated according to the <br />plans presented in Section 780.181b) and the timetable contained in Section 816.115. <br />As described under Section 816.115, it is impossible to predict exactly when full-scale <br />TR-19 780-83b Revised August 1999 <br />
