1 ^~ ( ~
- Mr. Steve Manger
February 2, 1982
Page Two
In an effort to meet these standards Wyoming Fuel Company will
first attempt establishment from seed. Evaluation of shrubs as
well as grasses and (orbs will be done every two years on this re-
claimed land. If after this evaluation shrub establishment is not
adequate or appears that it would not meet our shrub density standards
it is Wyoming Fuel Company's intent to augment the program to meet
these standards. This augmentation may include transplanting and/or
some form of transplanting or another measure completely aside from
transplanting. The BLM should understand that in order for Wyoming
Fuel Company to get complete bond release it will be necessary to
meet the shrub density standard. The means and the techniques for
meeting this standard will be largely dependent on our own reclamation
research conducted at the Canadian Strip Mine.
call.
~J
Sincerely,
/~~
llavid hl. Stout
Environmental Coordinator
If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to
DMS/tl
