Page 14 of 32 <br />This area will be used for processing and stockpiling the materials, pazking, and the site for any <br />temporary structures. <br />6.3.3 (fj <br />Please refer to Exhibit E. <br />6.3.3 (g) <br />The existing County Road 835C is approximately 14 feet wide and it is not anticipated that this road will <br />require any improvements. Gravel may be added to the road to assist with dust mitigation. <br />The easement to access the property is approximately .06 acres and that acreage is included in the <br />application. The easement will be improved to approximately 15 feet wide and graveled. <br />There are no anticipated issues with water run-off. The water will be allowed to run-off as part of the <br />natural flow. If in constructing any new roads and culverts aze necessary, the drainage area will be taken <br />into consideration when sizing the culverts. For drainage and run-off conveyances <br />6.3.3 (h) <br />There will not be any water required for this operation because it is a clean scoop and load operation. <br />6.3.3 (i) <br />Ground water or surface water should not be intercepted or disturbed. If groundwater is disturbed, the <br />operator will comply with the State's Water Quality Control Commission. <br />For storm water run-off control, please see Exhibit E. The storm water will follow the natural drainage <br />flow into the detention pond. The storm water will be released at the rational historic flow towazds <br />Hardscrabble Creek and the nature of the materials in the area will allow for relatively quick infiltration. <br />No storm water will be retained on the property. <br />6.3.3 (j) <br />There will not by any water required for this mine, but if there is any injury to any existing water right, <br />the operator will comply with the applicable Colorado water laws and regulations pertaining to injury to <br />existing water rights. <br />If water is used, the injured water right will be avoided by utilizing a substitute supply plan as outlined <br />by the Colorado Division of Water Resources. <br />6.3.3 (k) <br />There should not be any refuse and acid or toxic producing materials exposed during mining, but if these <br />materials are exposed, the operator will comply with the Environmental Protection Agency and the <br />Colorado Department of Health and Environment's recommendations for Hazardous Material Waste <br />Management. <br />If refuse and acid or toxic producing materials aze exposed, when backfilling, the operator will ensure <br />that adequate compaction for stability to prevent the leaching of toxic and acid-forming materials into <br />9/18/2006 <br />
