1
' RECLAMAT]ON
1
1
1

iii
i:~ ~
EXHIBIT E
The reclamation plan has been developed
to maximize the agricultural productivity of
the site end to minimize the surface size of
the resultant lake.
The lake created by the mining end subsequent
reclamation activity will be approximately 40
acres in size and will be in the southeasterly
portion of the property. An overflow at elevation
4797 will control the high water line of the
lake end will convey excess flows to the Poudre
via en easement through the adjacent owner's
property.
Two drainage ditches have historically entered
I' 1
1
i~~
i~~
i, ~
I! 1
I1
I!1
111
i'
l1
the site on the western boundary. A corrugated
metal pipe will be installed beneath the AT&T
cable to carry the flow of these drainages into
the lake. Currently, the north drainage flows
onto the property through a 24 inch CMP and the
south drainage through a 36 inch CMP. The pipe
beneath the AT&T cable has been sized to accommodate
the combined flows of these drainages.
The lake will generally have an irregularly
shaped shoreline, with the banks sloped no steeper
than 3 to 1 both above and below the water line.
Some portions on the banks will be sloped et
5 to 1 end greater so that shallows ere created
to support emergent plant life such as cattails.
Islands will be built in the lake to provide
a safe haven end nesting area for migratory birds
and other wildlife. Trees, shrubs, and groundcover
will be planted on the perimeter of the lake
E-1
