8. Revised Landscape drawings area included. The permanent berm, which <br />will be constructed along D Road and 29 '/z Road, will be one of the first <br />items constructed. The temporary berms will be constructed from <br />overburden material as shown on the mining map. These berms will then <br />be used in reclaiming the site. Refer to the landscaping drawings for <br />seeding requirements and tree plantings. <br />9. Understood. <br />10. One 11"x17" copy of the drawings are included. <br />11. Understood. <br />DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER "- <br />1. Understood. The revised drawings reflect half-street improvements. <br />2. Understood. Attached is a revised haul route map. Drivers will be <br />educated to utilize this haul route along with posting a schematic sign at <br />the exit of the pit to instruct truck drivers of the haul route. <br />3. Understood. Attached is a letter requesting the cost of road improvements <br />be credited against the TCP. <br />4. Understood. <br />5. A revised DIA is attached, which also reflects 120% of the cost of <br />improvements. <br />6. Due to the amount of structural fill required (typically three feet) to bring <br />the improvements in D Road to a suitable grade it is the opinion 4he of <br />applicant that the utilization of a "geogrid" product would not result in any <br />substantial savings. However, if during the review of the final construction <br />documents, discussed above, it is the Departments position to utilize a <br />geogrid product, the plans will be modified at that time. <br />CITY CODE ENFORCEMENT <br />1-5 Understood. <br />6. Haul routes within the gravel pit will have a gravel surface as well as an <br />asphalt drive area exiting the pit. With the surfaces described, mud <br />tracking should be alleviated. <br />7.
