<br /> <br />Reclamation will commence within one year of abandonment. <br />Summary <br />This area is 0.80 acre and will be in service until abandonment of the <br />site. <br />Area #13 <br />Miscellaneous access roads located variously in the SW-1/4 of the NE-1/4 <br />of Section 25, throughout the NE-1/4 of Section 25, and NE-1/4 of the SW-1/4 <br />of Section 25, the NW-1/4 of the SE-1/4 of Section 25 and the S-1/2 of Section <br />25. An area of 11.50 acres. During the years 1978-1979, cuts and fills will <br />be fertilizef at the same rate as explained for Area #1. Broadcast seeding <br />with the same species and rates as explained for the slopes in Area #1 will be <br />accomplished. Upon abandonment, roads will be ripped; fill slopes will be <br />pulled up and placed on the roadbed against the cut slope. Fertilizer will be <br />added at the same rate as previously explained for Area #1. Shrub <br />transplanting will be in accordance with procedures previously explained for <br />the slopes of Area #1 and the same species and the same rate of grass and <br />fortis will be broadcast seeded as previously explained for the slopes of Area <br />#1. Straw mulch will be applied at the rate of 2,000 lbs/per acre. Jute <br />matting will be fastened down over the mulch. <br />Reclamation will commence within one year of final abandonment. <br />Summary <br />The total area disturbed by roads and subject to reclamation upon <br />abandonment is 15.58 acres. There have been no new roads constructed since <br />1978, however, some roads were previously considered part of the mine benches. <br />The breakdown of the miscellaneous access roads is as follows: <br />
