In this area, 0.67 acre is disturbed and will be reclaimed by <br />1983. This area is not and has not been extensively used and as a consequence <br />minimal reclamation work is required <br />It will be cleared of materials <br />presently on site and reseeded. <br />Area #8 <br />Raise bore hole and ventilation fan site located in the SE-1/4 of the <br />NE-1/4 of Section 25. An area of 3.30 acres. Topsoil and topsoil-like <br />material will be removed and stockpiled at athe 3.30 acre site. Reclamation <br />of the stockpile will begin immediately. The same seed species and rates as <br />explained for the benches in Area #1 will be broadcast. The same fertilizer <br />and rates will be applied as for Area #1. Straw mulch will be applied at <br />2,000 lbs/acre and jute matting fastened down over it. <br />Upon final abandonment, all equipment, buildings, and structures will be <br />dismantled and removed and the raise bore hole plugged. The surface will be <br />recontoured to resemble surrounding terrain. Compacted areas will be ripped <br />and the stockpiled topsoil and topsoil-like material will be spread over the <br />entire site to a depth of 18". Reclamation will begin within one year of <br />final abandonment. The same shrub, grass, and forb species will be used as <br />explained for the benches in Area #1. Straw mulch will be applied at the rate <br />of 2,000 lbs/acre and crimped in. <br />
