The liner will be taken up and removed. <br />The second pond was constructed and lined as a back-up for the first pond, but <br />will be required only if the first pond lacks adequate capacity. Surface <br />drainage is diverted around the ponds by existing facilities. Both ponds will <br />be refilled and contoured to their natural surroundings. See map, Exhibit F, <br />for original contours. Shrub tubelings will be transplanted as explained for <br />the benches in Area #1. The same species and rates as explained for the <br />benches in Area #1 will be broadcast seeded. Straw mulch will be applied at <br />the rate of 2,000 lbs per acre and crimped in. Reclamation will begin within <br />one year of abandonment. <br />Summary <br />The present size of this site is 2.86 acres. The area is still in active <br />use. An area of disturbance at the north end is being used as an equipment <br />storage area. We will also utilize it for the storage of topsoil. <br />Area #7 <br />Future equipment and parts storage and additional raise bore hole located <br />in the NE-1/4 of the NE-1/4 of Section 25. An area of 3.30 acres. Topsoil <br />will be removed and stockpiled within the 3.30 acres. Grass and forb seed <br />will be broadcast over the stockpile at the same rate and the same species as <br />explained for benches in Area #l. This phase will begin as soon after stock- <br />piling is completed and not later than one year after completion. Straw mulch <br />~.c~ ~ will be applied at 20_~/acre and jute matting fastened down over it. Upon <br />final abandonment, all equipment and parts will be removed and the raise bore <br />hole plugged.
