Roads are covered in a separate portion of this Exhibit (Area #13). <br />There is an existing cattle trail which passes through part of the mine dump <br />area and this will have to be left in a state suitable for the use. This <br />trail is shown on Exhibit F, Revised, as it exists from the research mine <br />bench to the heater/treater area (Area #15). the actual affected area is <br />shown as 4a. <br />Area #5 <br />Main surface buildings and drill pads located in the SE-1/4 of the NE-1/4 <br />of Section 25. An area of 3.00 acres. This entire area will be in use for <br />the duration of the mine. Upon final abandonment all buildings will be <br />dismantled and removed. The surface will be recontoured to resemble the <br />surrounding area. Compacted ground will be ripped. Fertilizer will be <br />applied at the rate of 80 lbs of Nitrogen, 100 lbs of Phosphorous, and 50 lbs <br />of Potassium per acre. Seed will be applied at the same rate and by the same <br />manner as has been explained for the benches in Area #1. Shrub tubelings will <br />also be transplanted as explained for the benched in Area #1. <br />Straw will be used as a mulch and crimped in at the rate of two tons per <br />acre. <br />Summary <br />The disturbance in this area is 1.82 acre. All the buildings have been <br />removed and approximately 1.29 acres will be reclaimed by 1983. A 0.53 acre <br />portion, presently distrubed, of this site will continue to be used for some <br />time. <br />Araa #r, <br />Two overflow ponds located in the NE-1/4 of the NE-1/4 of Section 25. An <br />area of 2.00 acres. <br />Upon final abandonment, the lined-pond will be cleaned and removed in <br />
