Exhibit E -Reclamation Plan (continued)
• 3. The reclamation standards employed by B&B should improve the vegetation on
the site over its current sparse and weedy condition.
~. A seeded soil berm will be installed along Highway 6&24 to provide a barrier
to minimize wildlife and visual impact created by mining.
5. The south berm will be situated to include the opportunity for a trail along
the southern property line when future development occurs.
6. All fuels, grease, lubricants and other hazardous materials will be stored in
approved containers with containment facilities that protect against spills
from contaminating the surrounding ground and offsite areas.
7. Temporary topsoil stockpiles will be seeded to reduce visual impact and
• to prevent fugitive dust created by wind. Berms will also be placed around the
piles to prevent erosion loss into the pit area.
8. Spray bars on crushing equipment and aggressive watering of'haul roads
and mining azea will minimize fugitive dust and its visual impact.
9. Fines from processing will be added to the subsoil where possible to improve
the water retention capability of the soil after reclamation.
10. Installation of accel/decel lanes on Highway 6 will mitigate safety and
inconvenience issues to other users of the Highway.
l 1. The north berm cut from the existing terrace will minimize wildlife impacts
during the life of the operation.

Carol Ann Permit CDMG Application 3 5
