(Colors aze for dry soil unless otherwise noted.) <br />All 0 to 3 inches; very dazk gray (10YR3/1) loam, black (10YR2/1) <br />moist; weak very fine crumb structure; soft, very friable; many <br />very fine medium and coarse roots; few pebbles and cobbles; <br />neutral (pH 6.8); abrupt smooth boundary. (2 to 10 inches thick) <br />A12 3 to 22 inches; very dazk grayish brown (10YR3/2) loam, very dark <br />brown (10YR2/2) moist with thin lenses of black (10YR2/1) and <br />very dazk gray (10YR3/1) soft, very friable; many very fine and <br />medium coarse roots; few pebbles and cobbles; neutral (pH 6.9); <br />abrupt wavy boundazy. (10 to 20 inches thick) <br />C 22 to 40 inches; brown (10YR5/3) loam stratified with thin lenses <br />of very fine sandy loam, silt loam, or clay loam, dark brown <br />(10YR4/3) moist; slightly hazd, friable, slightly sticky and slightly <br />plastic; !0 percent gravel, 5 percent cobbles; neutral (pH 7.0). <br />• <br />I-38 <br />
