(Colors aze for dry soil unless otherwise noted.) <br />Al 0 to 6 inches; very dazk grayish brown (10YR3/2) silt loam, very <br />dark brown (IOYR2/2) moist; strong fine crumb and granulaz <br />structure; soft, very friable; many roots; neutral (pH 6.6); gradual <br />smooth boundary. (4 to 8 inches thick) <br />Bl 6 to 10 inches; dazk grayish brown (10YR4/2) light clay loam, very <br />dark grayish brown (10YR3/2) moist; moderate fine subangulaz <br />blocky structure that parts to medium granules; slightly hard, very <br />• friable; many roots; some wax-like fillings on the inside of root <br />channels; neutral (pH 6.6); gradual smooth boundary.
