4. Furnish quarterly assessment to BLM within 30 days of data gathering. <br />5. Should sound levels approach or exceed EPA standards for speech or sleep <br />interference, the following steps and/or any other steps as directed by <br />the authorized BLM officer must be taken to rectify the noise levels: <br />a) Use of barriers or noise control methods. <br />b) Staging of helicopter operations from mine operation areas. <br />c) Stringent maintenance of facilities to minimize noise which might <br />develop with wear. <br />d) Full enclosure of water/pipeline pump house. <br />t) If, in its operations, the rights-of-way grantee discovers any historic or <br />prehistoric ruin, monument or site, or any object of antiquity subject to <br />the Antiquities Act of June S, 1906 (34 Stat. 225; 16 U.S.C. Secs. 431- <br />433), and 43 CFR Part 3, the discovery will be immediately reported to the <br />• DisCrict Manager, and activity in the area will be suspended. The Bureau <br />will then take such action as required under the Act and regulations there- <br />under. <br />u) These stipulations may be revised or amended by the grantor at any time to <br />adjust to changed physical conditions in the land, water, air, wildlife, <br />other relevant environmental factors, or to correct an oversight. The <br />grantor and grantee shall monitor the grantee's operations and use of the <br />right-of-way throughout the life of the grant in a mutual endeavor to deter- <br />mine the feasibility and need to amend the existing stipulations or impose <br />additional stipulations in a sincere effort to make the grantee's activities <br />under the gran[ as free from environmental damage as is practicable. <br />The grantor may amend these stipultions in order to make them consistent <br />with any new or revised federal or state statutes and/or regulations, or <br />provisions of the West Central Colorado Environmental Statement or a site <br />. specific ES. <br />
