• Colorado Gravel Products Inc.
45247 Hwy 112
Center, Colorado 81125
Exhibit E-Reclamation Plan
Items 1 and 2 are general instructions on the preparation of the reclamation plan.
2) a. The applicant has chosen rangeland and wildlife habitat as the reclamation
type for this site. This is consistent with the previous land usage for this site and
fits with the agricultural land use for miles in any direction. Approximately 77
acres will be affected.
Earthmoving will consist of grading the pit floor and backslopes and replacing
topsoil to a depth of 2" to 8", as available. Loaders, dozers, and scrapers will be
used to accomplish this. Backslopes will be finished at 3H:1 V.
b. As previously stated, the post-mining land use will consist of rangeland and
wildlife habitat. This corresponds with the land use in the surrounding area.
• This is in compliance with with adopted state and local land use plans and
programs.
3.1.1 Establishing Post Mining Use.
1. The operator who is also the property owner feels that rangeland and
wildlife habitat is the most appropriate final use for this property. The
owner will continue to work with the United States Soil Conservation
District and the Division of Wildlife to maintain this final use.
2. The results of this decision have been formulated to a workable
reclamation plan.
3.1.3 Time Limit and Phased Reclamation
The operator will carry reclamation to completion with all reasonable diligence.
Reclamation will follow mining as closely as possible.
3.1.4 Public Use
The operator does not intent to open this site to public use.
