compliance with current ISDS regulations, a new design which confo>zns to current <br />regulations must be submitted. <br />H. A use pemtit may be issued by the Local health department to the owner of property <br />on which a structure is to be remodeled to certify that the system existing on the <br />property is adequate to service the remodeled strtrcdue. Such a permit may be issued <br />only if the local health department has sufficient, validated information in it's files <br />regarding existing system to establish that the system will be adequate to process any <br />additional loading due to remodeling. If such information is not avarlable, a report <br />from a Registered Professional Engineer shall be required, showing that the presem <br />system is adequate to handle additional loading. <br />An individual sewage disposal system permit shall be required for expanded use of an <br />existing system. <br />The issuance of a permit and specifications of terms and conditions therein shall not <br />constitute assumption or create a presumption that the local health departmem or it's <br />employees may be Liable for the failure of any system nor act as a cerlification that the <br />equipment used in the system or atry component thereof used in it's operation or that <br />the system for which the permit was issued insures continuous compliance with the <br />provision of Article 10 of Title 25, C.R.S., the rules and regulations adopted <br />thereunder or any terms and conditions of a permit. <br />K. No individual sewage disposal system permit shall be issued to any person when the <br />subject property is located within 400 feet of a municipality or sanitation district <br />collecting line, except where such sewer service to the property is not feasible in the <br />determination of the municipality or sanitation district and the municipality or <br />sanitation district has refused sewer service to the applicant. <br />3.02 Application Revietw <br />A The application shall include such information, data, plans, specifications, statements, <br />and commitments as requved by the local boazd of health. <br />B. After receiving an application for an individual sewage disposal system permit, the <br />application shall be reviewed by the local health department and an inspection shall <br />be made by the health officer or his/her designated representative consisting of: <br />Inspection of the site, unless previously inspected. <br />2. Evaluation of soil where percolation tests are required. <br />A determination as to the suitability of the site and of the proposed design <br />based upon verification of the ground water table, suitable soil, depth to <br />bedrock, ground slope and pertinent physical features. <br />C.
