. iii) _If a reservoir _has a capacity_of more than 1 000 <br />acre-feet, or has a dam or embankment in excess of 10 feet in vertical <br />height, from the bottom of the channel to the bottom of the spillway, or has <br />a surface area at huh waterline in excess of 20 acres, then each plan under <br />2.05.3(~(b, or c) shall meet _the applicable requirements of the State <br />Engineer in accordance with C.R;S. 37-87-105. In cases where a <br />sedimentation and or impoundment meets or exceeds the criteria of 30 CFR <br />77.716(al_ then the nermittee shall also comply with the applicable <br />nts <br />ons. <br />• <br />t a <br />RESPONSE: Refer to Permit No. C-81-071 <br />RESPONSE: <br />Concerning this revision, there are two projects which may require <br />topsoil removal. The first project involves the areas of channel <br />repair and the second involves the final topography of Area 61. <br />The channel repair areas to be rehabilitated will require the removal <br />of topsoil prior to commencing the work. An access corridor as shown <br />on Map No. Per• Rev. 86-2-1, will be created into each area. Prior to <br />constructing the corridor, soil test Boles will be dug to determine the <br />depth of topsoil salvage. It is anticipated that approximately 18 <br />inches of topsoil is available for salvage. <br /> <br />The topsoil will be bladed aside or hauled to a temporary stockpile <br />location.
