Friendly Amendments: Commissioner Jean Garren asked about the size of the proposed shrubs. Ms Hoj stated that the standard is shrubs in a 5 gallon container. Commissioners Wolf and Taylor accepted these friendly amendments and incorporated them into their Motion for approval. Discussion: There was a discussion about the length of the time the crusher will be operated. Ms Fox stated that the petitioner has requested a period of six weeks. Commissioner Wolf amended Condition 8 to read as stated above. He directed Planning Staff>,o work with the Petitioner to determine a more specific period of time prior to the Board of County Commissioner's hearing. Crusher shall only be operated a maximum of 50 days per year. Commissioner Holly suggested that the petitioner telephone Planning Staff to notify them when the crusher will be in operation. There was a discussion about water testing. Commissioner Wolf added to the water testing condition, "if permitted by the Anderson well owner.' There was a discussion about what would occur if the test shcws depletion. Commissioner Wolf added to the condition: "The results of the well testing shall be reported to Planning Staff quarterly and shall be a part of the annual SUP review." Commissioner Mitsch Bush stated that the result of the noise monitoring should also be reported to Planning Staff quarterly and be part of the annual SUP review. Commissioner Wolf agreed and incorporated this into his Motion for approval. Ms Hoj referred to Specific Condition #4 and suggested that the words, "equitable basis' since the petitioner has agreed to do this. Commissioners Wolf and Taylor accepted this suggestion and incorporated it into their Motion for approval as shown above. There was a discussion about the gas pipe line. Mr. Crofts suggested that a letter could be submitted by Public Service. Commissioner Wolf added to Condition 12: "A letter from Public Service shall be submitted prior to the Board of County Commissioners hearing." Commissioner Taylor accepted this addition. Vote: Yes - 5, with the Chair voting Yes. 10
