Estimated potential yields for croplands, pasture, and for rangelands are presented
in Section 4,0. Several of the soils have potential as irrigated and nonirrigated
cropland. The other soils are not suitable for cultivation but are suitable as (~
rangeland.
The evaluation of the soils of the permit area as sources of reconstruction material
for disturbed lands is reported in Section 5.0. The methodology used in the evalua-
tion is explained in Section 5.1. The results of soil analytical testing of 56 soil
samples from twelve profiles are presented in Section 5.2. Each horizon of each
soil is evaluated as a reconstruction material, either on site specific data or on
the best available data, in Section 5.3. Depths of suitable material available are
given in Section 5.4. Recommendations for use of the soil are given in Section 5.5.
The appendices contain detailed profile descriptions from the site (Appendix 11 and
SCS "form 5's" - Soil Interpretation Record (Appendix II).

~~J
- 2 -
