Included in the map unit are fine, montmorillonitic, Ari~~_ Haploborolls, and fine- <br />silty Aridic Haploborolls. Also included are areas wher_ bedrock is at less than ~) <br />40 inches. Inclusion comprise 25 percent of the mapped area. <br />2.4 (46C) KLOTEN LOAM, 3 TO 12 PERCENT SLOPES <br />Map unit 46C consists of shallow well drained soils formed in loess over sand- <br />stone. The Kloten series occurs on rolling uplands and has slopes of 3 to 12 <br />percent. The unit is mapped only in the disposal area in one 5-acre unit. <br />Included are areas of loamy mixed Typic Haploborolls. Inclusions comprise <br />25 percent of the map unit. <br />2.5 (608) TURRET SANDY LOAM, 1 TO 3 PERCENT SLOPES <br />Map uni t 603 consists. of deep wel l drained soi 1 s formed on alluvium on ofd river <br />..-. <br />terraces. Slopes are 1 to 3 percent. The Turret Series occurs in the disposal area <br />and in the pit 6 and 7 areas. <br />Included are areas where soils are similar to Turret but bedrock lies between <br />20 inches and 40 inches. Inclusions comprise 15 percent of the map unit. <br />2.6 (69A) HOMELAKE LOAM, 0 TO 3 PERCENT SLOPES <br />Map unit 69A consists of deep, somewhat poorly drained soils that formed in mixed <br />alluvium. Homelake Soils are on flood plains and drainageways and have slopes of <br />0 to 3 percent. The Homelake Series is mapped on the flood plain of the Williams <br />Fork River. <br />Inclusions make up 25 percent of the map unit. Included are areas of Havre soils, <br />Cumulic Haploborolls, and wet areas. <br />• ) <br />t` <br />- 4 - <br />
