There will be no chemically contaminated tailings or <br />leached ores, therefore no anticipated impacts to ground or <br />surface waters. <br />Drainage control to divert upland drainageway from the <br />site during and after operation will not be necessary as the <br />property is located at a topographic high with no upland drain- <br />age. Temporary straw bale dikes will be used during mining and <br />reclamation. <br />Mining Plan - General Outline: <br />The mining plan consists of dividing the site into cells <br />which will be excavated and reclaimed (backfilled) in a pro- <br />gressive northerly direction, upgradient. The first cell of <br />• approximately 2 acres will be mined and unreclaimed until mining <br />of cell no.2 is completed. Topsoil will be left stockpiled along <br />the west boundary. The mined cell. no.l will be the processing <br />area for the mining of cell no.2. After cell no.2 is mined, <br />cell no.l will be reclaimed (backfilled). 7'he process will be <br />repeated as each subsequent cell is mined. See Exhibit E Mining <br />Plan Map. <br /> <br />
