The meeting was to discuss your comments submitted to
the Mesa County Planning and Development Department concerning Grand Valley
Power power lines located within one of the topsoil stockpiles we have designated for
the development of the gravel pit.
The topsoil stockpile and power line in question are located at the northeast corner of
the gravel pit. We are not intending to request the power line be relocated. We will
move the stockpile from under the power line. We will need to cross under the power
line with equipment so we can stockpile east of this line, but the wire is high enough off
the ground to allow our equipment to pass under it safely. All other power lines are on
the outside boundary of the gravel pit and will not be affected by our operations.
I appreciate you meeting with me onsite. If you have any questions, please contact me
at your convenience,
Since ,
`~
Peter J.
