~ 10. Sloping - A minimum 3 to 1 slope shall be left to a depth
of 10 feet below water level, and 2 to 1 thereafter to
the bedrock floor. The floor of the pit will be left in
a level condition.

11. Excavation Limits - Along all sides of the property exca-
vation shall not take place within 25 feet of the property
line. Twenty-five feet will not disturb the existing
ditches on the south or north sides. This excavation will
~ f
come within 125 feet of the Plowman's structures on the
south. However, since Mr. Plowman is one of the purchasers
of the property, by participating in the conditional use
request he is granting permission to come this close (Adams
•
' County prohibits mining within 125 feet of a residence with-
out permission). This 25 foot area amounts to 3.1 acres.
In addition, along both Nome Street and 132nd an additional
75 feet will not be mined but only graded to fit final con-
•
tours in order to provide stability for homesite construc-
tion and septic tank installation. This additional 75 feet
amounts to just over 4 acres. A total of approximately 7+
acres will be left undisturbed or receive minor disturbance.
•
i 12. Estimated Development Schedule and Other Data - Projected
to begin in 1985-86 upon completion of the property to the
south.
~ Total Acres to Estimated
Time Acres be Mined Tons
Phase I - 12-18 months 13.2 9.2 920,000
Phase II - 6-9 months 9.2 6,5 650,000
~ Phase III - 10-14 months 9.4 8.6 860,000
Phase IV - 12-18 months 12.9 10.7 1,070,000
42-60 months 42.7 35.0 3,500,000
~ The above is an estimate only, as market rnnditions will de-
termine sales.
13. Other Standards - All the operations shall comply with noise
vibration, safety, air emissions, and other standards re-
•
quired by relevant County, State, and Federal laws, rules,
and regulations. Where there is an overlap between such,
the more restrictive shall govern.
~ 14.
