The mining operation <br />will not affect any groundwater or surface water. <br />10. No injury will occur to any existing water rights. <br />The only water used will be purchased from an existing water <br />right. No surface or subsurface water will be encountered in <br />the operation. <br />11. No refuse, acid-forming or toxic producing material <br />will be exposed during the operation. <br />12. There will be no disturbance of the hydrological <br />balance as no groundwater or surface water will be intercepted. <br />Natural runoff from the site will be contained on site by an <br />earthen berm. All operations will be contained on the site, <br />and, thus, no offsite damage of any kind will occur. <br />At the conclusion of the removal of gravel from each <br />area of approximately two (2) acres, topsoil will be spread <br />to a depth of approximately six inches (6"). The slope of the <br />reclaimed area will be one percent (1%). <br />13. The gravel will be crushed and screened on site. <br />A crushing plant utilizing a jaw or cone crusher with multiple <br />screen surface to separate various sizes of material will be <br />used. The crushing and screening plant will be portable and <br />moved within the site as removal of the gravel progresses. <br />Dust control utilizing a water spray system will be incorporated <br />in the crushing and screening plant. No chemicals will be used <br />in the processing operation. <br />
