O. Box 219
Glenwood Springs, Colorado 81602
(303) 945-7755
Denver Direcs Line: 893-1608
Wright Water Engineers has prepared design drawings for the realignment and piping of the
CKP Ditch within B&B Excavating's property known as the Montgomery Pit. We have
enclosed a set of drawings for your use with the submittal to the Mined Land Reclamation
Board. B&B Excavating has already reviewed the drawings.
The design hydraulic capacity of the 30" CMP pipeline within B&B's property is 12 cfs.
Although the CKP Ditch headgate is decreed for 20.82 cfs, the existing actual capacity
upstream of the B&B property is approximately 11 cfs. The capacity of the CKP Ditch was
reduced to less than the decreed capacity due to piping of the CKP Ditch in 1975 with several
thousand feet of 22" CMP upstream from the B&B property.
The horizontal alignment of the pipeline has been established by a 10 foot offset from the fence
line from Station 1+00 to Station 34+00 to maximize the use of the property for gravel
operations.
Please call if you have any questions or comments.
Respectfully,
WRIGHT WATER ENGINEERS, INC.
By: 7l~-Cc~ ~ ~tiu~•-I'
Robert D.
