Loadout Site <br />• <br />Snowmass Coal is the owner of four water rights at the loadout site <br />near Carbondale, Colorado. They are listed as: <br />1. Snowmass Coal Company Well No. 1 <br />2. Snowmass Coal Company Well No. 2 <br />3. Snowmass Coal Company Reservoir <br />4. Snowmass Roaring Fork Pipeline <br />The above wells and reservoir, even though they are junior water <br />rights, can be utilized according to the Snowmass Coal Company <br />Augmentation Plan. A copy of the Augmentation Plan is enclosed. The <br />augmentation water is obtained from the Crand and Pebbles Ditch by <br />drying up 15 acres of irrigated land that is covered by the loadout <br />facility, By foregoing the diversion in the Crane and Pebbles Ditch, <br />the water that had been utilized on this land will remain in the <br />river. The water is then diverted through Snowmass Coal's Wells No. 1 <br />• and No. 2. Water may be pumped from Wells No. 1 and No. 2 at a rate <br />of 50 gpm in the summer and 15 gpm in the winter.
