Item #1 - Long Conveyor - In this estimate, lively inlcuded ali earthwork <br />costs for excavation in Exhibit #1. They also redesigned and decided that <br />• steel cable belting was required for the long conveyor and also included <br />this cost, <br />Item #2 - This was clarified Exhibit #2 and Exhibit #3 of the short con- <br />veyor, calculating the cost estimate for the coal haulage road and all site <br />work preparation necessary for installation of the road, truck dunp, and <br />stockpile area. <br />Item #3 - Low Profile <br />This clarified Exhibits #2 and #3 earthwork cost estimates and the short <br />conveyor estimates. The second truck dump for the tandem and a totally <br />enclosed buildiny for the total truck dump as well as a short stacking con- <br />• veyor to provide stockpile capabilities at this point was included. This <br />item also included the remainder of the conveyor earthwork cost estimates <br />and revised the culvert required, lessening it to only a culvert underneath <br />the actual Farmer's Mine Road and Fire Mountain Canal. It also included a <br />cost for installing steel cable belting for the short conveyor. <br />Item #4 - Short Conveyor, High Profile - In this item, the high profile con- <br />veyor earthwork was cost estimated, including the truck dump modification <br />and emeryency stockpile conveyor. It also included the remainder of the <br />conveyor's earthwork costs and added the steel cable belting. <br />June 20, 1984 Telephone Conversation - In this telephone conversation <br />between CWI and Lively, the proposal of June 12, 1984, was further clari- <br />• fied, In order to calculate the cost of the long conveyor, the original May <br />17, 1984, letter stated a separate cost on the short conveyor from the <br />
