1
1
EXHIBIT E
1
' Reclamation Plan and Timetable - (Letters in parenthesis correspond to
the appropriate sections of Rule 2.)
(a and b) - Present land use on the property is sand and gravel mining.
1 The areas around the present ponds provide limited habitat for water
' fowl and small animals at the present time.
The ultimate land use after completion of mining is a combination
' of private recreation and wildlife habitat (see Map in Exhibit F).
(d) General - The area will be reclaimed as a private park with four ponds
' totaling approximately 95 acres. Grading and backfilling will be
conducted during and immediately after mining of each area and will
' produce a relatively uniform ground surface between the ponds. Slopes
will be no steeper than 3:1. Topsoiling, seeding, and watering will be
1 carried out by the operator until vegetation is well established.
' A setback zone approximately 50 feet wide along the river will not
be mined.
' The reclamation plan consists of ponds with habitats designed for
waterfowl nesting and regarded, revegetated shorelines. Slopes will be
1 no steeper than 3:1 and adequate setback and ground surface elevation
will be maintained to preclude any significant disruption of the Cache
LaPoudre River due to the presence of the ponds.
