The access roads wrU be restored as closely as possible to the approximate <br />original coadour, ro-seeded, fertilized, and mnlched as above. <br />8. The dull pads and access roads reclamation procedru~e outlined above will <br />apply Daly to those areas newly dishubcd for this proposed project. Existing <br />roads will be left in a condition equal to or better than that observed on <br />Mountain Coal Coatpanry's entry into the area. <br />9. Amy coal recovered incidentally to this project will be in the foam of cuttinngs or <br />core and would either be taken back to the mine site or disposed of in the mud <br />P~• <br />ANTICIPATED SCHEDUJ,E <br />Dxilling of these wells is anticipated bo eommeace October 23, 2005 depending on drill <br />rig availability and USES approval. It will take approrrimately 3 days to drill and <br />complete each of the hole(s) and another week to perform interim reclamation. <br />The term of ase is variable due to levels of gases fauod in the mine as a reslrlt of the <br />drilling and the level of success of pumping watea, foam, and nitrogen inw the mine. <br />MEASURES TO BE USED TO COMPLY WITH PERFORMANCE STANDARDS <br />FOR TIIE PROJECT (43 CFR 3484.1(al, 30 CFR 815.15. and Color~o Division~f <br />Minerals and Geoloav Rules and R ~o~l <br />1. Operator shall comply with applicahte requirements of sarfaoe mrarnagement <br />agency, 30 CFR 81 S. i5, or approved State program, <br />Momrtain Coal Comparry has reviewed, and wi11 comply with, all applicable requirements <br />of 30 CFR 815.15 and the Colorado 11Tned Land Reclamation Regulations shared in <br />C.R.S. 34-33-101. <br />2. Iostall casing and blowout paevemters in drill holes in known oil, gas, and geothermal <br />areas. <br />It is andicipated that gas will be anoounteted in the mbblized-zone of the $ Seam. Gas is <br />known to be encountered after mining im previous methane drainage holes in the area <br />Casing will be set in each hole as necessary to maintain circulation of cuttings to the <br />surface. <br />3. Drill hole plugging requirements. <br />In accordance with the Coal Program Guidance Document -Methane Drainage and <br />Monitoring Wells, MCC will plug and abandon these MDWs per DMG Reties 2.05.4 and <br />z <br />
