A mechanical packer will be set at the lowest possrble poirR in <br />the well (note that subsidence damage to the easing~may preclude access to the satire <br />depth of the casing). Above this packer the hole will` be phigged with CDMG approved <br />materials to the bottom of the 5-foot cement surface rap using tremmie line. The top 5- <br />feet of the weIl below the sub-surface using cut-off point (3-feet below the su¢£ace) will <br />be plugged with a camera. cap. The top 3-feet of the casing will fben be cut off and the <br />hole 5lled. in widr subsoil. A pemrauerd marker shall be installed on top of the plug <br />identifying the well. The pad will then be reclaimed to approaaimate original contour. <br />The Methane Drainage Well drilling experience for Mountain Coal Company Las shown <br />that no aquifers Lave yet bees encountered. However, the prucedra>rs described above <br />would sec~ie to propaiy protect may aquufers that would be encountered. <br />4.
