This water will be distributed through a Colorado State <br />Department of Health approved system. Sewage and wastewater will <br />be disposed of through a septic tank and leach-field approved by <br />the State Department of Health. All refuse and solid waste will be <br />hauled to the nearest public dump, <br />The San Niguel Power Company will provide power to the Cotter <br />owned sub-station at 14,400 volts where it will he transformed <br />down to 490 volts for underground and surface usage. <br />NI IdI NC <br />Drilling has delineated several widely scattered ore horizons <br />at various depths. To mine these ore horizons, a decline will be <br />driven from the surface for 1,540 feet at -16% from the horizontal. <br />The entryway will be nine feet by eleven feet wide in cross-section <br />and will be driven utilizing conventional drill blast techniques. <br />The equipment which will be used for this phase of mining includes <br />a single boom jumbo, two ten ton haulage units, a two yard loader, <br />and jackleg drills. Rock support will be by conventional timbering <br />and rock bolting in conjunction with shot-crete wherever applicable. <br />Development drifting will begin once the decline is bottomed <br />and will head in several directions. (For approximate directions <br />of underground workings, locate venthole sites on the map in <br />Exhibit C.) The development headings will be nine feet high by <br />eleven feet wide in cross-section and will be driven by conventional <br />drill blast techniques utilizing the equipment previously described <br />in the decline phase.
