<br />3 <br />• The area will be broadcast or handsown with a seed mixture that <br />offers a combination of native and introduced species, quick- <br />convening annuals and more substantial perennials, and grass <br />and browse species. The following mixture is considered to be <br />more than adequate by the Dureau of Land tlanagement: <br />Species Lbs.pls/A <br /> <br />Sand dropseed 0.5 <br />Crested wheatgrass 3 <br />IYestern wheatgrass 3 <br />Four-wing saltbrush 3 <br />Indian ricegrass 2 <br />Yello~v sweetclover 2 <br />Plans for mulching, fertilization, and other soil amendments <br />will be added with technical revisions follo~ving testing to determine <br />the practicality and feasibility of such practices. <br />Roads <br />Pre-existing rain roads will be left in servicable condition. <br />Other roads will be rendered impassable, scarified, and reseeded <br />using the previously listed seed mixture (see above mixture). <br />See Exhibit C for permitted roads. <br />Venthole Sites <br />Venthole fans will be dismantled, concrete pads will be removed, <br />and the area will be graded and reseeded with the above seed mixture. <br />The hole will be either permanently or. temporarily closed, depending <br />upon the decision of the Department of Energy. <br />• <br />
