5 - <br />• location is to be located directly north of the site. The enbanianent <br />and reservoir area is bordered th' moderately steep slopes on the east <br />and west. The immediate area of the site is fairly flat and slopes <br />gently down to the north. <br />Fond G: The site is situated in the mrth-central 1/2, Sec. 26, <br />T. 9 N., R. 78 W. The embankment is to be located near the base of <br />the north valley side of Bush thaw, which lies about 200 feet to the <br />south. The ground surface in this area slopes gently down to the <br />southeast. The ground surface rises moderately to the rnrth of the <br />proposed pond. <br />Pond H: The pond site is situated near the base of the south valley <br />side of Williams Draw, in the NW 1/4, Sec. 26, T. 9 N., R. 78 W. The <br />ground surface at the proposed enbankment and pond is relatively flat <br />• and slopes slightly down to the northeast. South of the proposed <br />pond, the ground surface rises approximately 40 feet to the crest of <br />an interstream divide between Williams and Bush Draws. <br />Fond I: The pond site is located in the SiV 1/4, Sec. 23, T. 9 N., <br />R. 78 W., on a tributary drainage of Williams Draw. The drainage was <br />dry at the time of our investigation. The ground surface in the area <br />is gently rolling and slopes gently down to the east. Gully erosion <br />has occurred along a mall trail, rorth of the pond site, exposing <br />claystone and sandstone bedrock at a depth of 2 feet below the ground <br />surface. <br />Fond J: The pond is to be located across a tributary drainage of <br />Williams Draw in the NW 1/4, Sec. 23, T. 9 N., R. 78 W. The drainage <br />. had a minimal flow at the time of our investigation from seepage and <br />
