<br />E3iHIHIT "J" <br />VEGETATION INFORMATION <br />The site is made up of gently sloping to rolling uplands associated with <br />the Saltdesert environment. The slopes range from 0 to 50 percent, and <br />the elevations range from 4,800 to 4,920 feet in the area. <br />The vegetative aspects of the affected area have been identified as <br />follows: <br />GRASSES: <br />Percent Composition by <br />Weight of Species Total <br />1. Scarlet Globmallow OS% <br />3. Indian Paintbrush O5% <br />4. Sego Lily O5'/. <br />5. Hood's Phlox O5% <br />6. Buckwheat OS% <br />7. Loco OS% <br />SHRUBS: <br />1. Shadscale 10% <br />2. Gardner Saltbrush 10% <br />3. Winterfat 05% <br />4. Douglas Rabbitbrush OS% <br />5. Broom Snakeweed 03% <br />6. Prickly Pear 03% <br />7. Big Sagebrush 03% <br />8. Bud Sagebrush 03% <br />There are no trees on the site and ground cover is only found on less <br />that 25% of the affected area. The area has been invaded by cheatgrass, <br />halogeton, Russian thistle, and annual mustard. <br />
