EXHIBIT E
1
] RECLAMATION PLAN AND TIMETABLE
RECLAMATION PLAN.
B&B Excavating, Inc, will perform final grading, resoil with
available soil and revegetate to final reclamation of ter the mining
phase of the operation is complete. As required by Ea91e County
I B&B Excavating, Inc. will plant approximately 185 seedling trees
along the south property line from the entrance road west to the
west property line. See Map Exhibit F for the location of these
J trees.
The Montgomery Pit will be mined in three stages. Mining will
I begin in Phase 1, progress to Phase 2 and finish in Phase 3. In
Phase 1 much of the reclamation, such as sloping and grading, will
I occur while mining is in progress. Because of the counties requirement
that the ditch and tree line along the ditch remain until last.
I The temporary sloping located along the north side of Stage 3 will
be done during the mining of Stages 1 and 2 causing an overlap of
3.93 acres ±. This slope will be vegetated with a cover crop of
Crested Wheatgrass until it is mined during the final stage.
The reclamation of the plants site in Stage 3 and the SHOP
I AREA will begin when mining is completed in Stage 3. The sloping
and grading work will be on going with mining.
B&B Excavatings planned future use of the affected land is a
return to vegetation for grazing purposes, but this in no way indicates
1 the area will be preserved as a wildlife area in the future.
Reclamation will be an ongoing process following immediately
behind mining whenever possible.
1 Slopes along the south, east and west boundaries will be mined
to their final slope of 2h to lv so that only final grading and
1 shaping will be necessary prior to resoiling. The floor area of
the pit, approximately ten (10) feet above the normal flow level of
I the Eagle River, will be mined so that a suitable grade for dcainage
exists. Leaving only final grading and shaping prior to resoiling.
12
