In addition, <br />drinlcinq or other drug use, while operating any of our <br />equipment, is cause for immediate dismissal. <br />It i:a the responsibility of Western Paving's drivers to <br />remove all loose rock and dirt from their trucks before <br />leaving the pit with properly distributed loads, not <br />exce~adinq the weight limits. Should any Western Paving <br />driver receive a traffic ticket or an overweight ticket, <br />it i:s their responsibility to pay them. Western Paving <br />will not pay for any tickets. <br />Western Paving purchases the latest equipment, including <br />extra large truck dump boxes, so that the load sits well <br />down inside these boxes and does not protrude, where the <br />wind may blow the sand onto the road. <br />Western Paving's trucks run with the latest quiet tires <br />and leave the most up-to-date noise supression equipment. <br />Our :L980 vehicles already operate quieter than the <br />January 1st, 1982 E.P.A. regulation of 80 dB(A). <br />'/ • It is interesting to note that many luxury cars, at full <br />{ throttle, produce sound levels in the high 70's. 6Iid- <br />size and small cars in the high 80 dB(A) range. Cruising <br />leve:Ls for most cars and trucks is approaching the same <br />figure.
