The segment of the access road that will be constructed on spoil will use the
• spoil as surfacing material. The segments of the aooe~.s toad that are not
constructed on spoil will use the native soils as surfacing material.
The crossing of the southern tributary of Foidel Creek will consist of two 36-
inrh diameter culverts. In the event that topsoiling activities utilizing
stockpile 26/27-51 are not oac~leted during 1989, then the culverts will be
removed and reinstalled following the 1990 run-off period. Approximately five
feet of fill material will be placed over the culvert. The fill material will
be borrcx~ed from either side of the culvert as it is positioned across the access
road. This material will be pushed up to and over the culvert. 'Typically, the
road will be approximately 100 feet wide, however, on the slope down from the
stoclq~ile it will be approximately 160 feet wide. The road s«iment on the slope
will be a cut and fill section to allow for a level runnvxJ surface. All the
topsoil will be salvaged from the cut and fill area. A work area will be
maintained around the stockpile to facilitate loading of trucks. The mad will
be used by the various equipment utilized in the topsoiling project. This
includes trucks, scrapers, aid other mobile equipment anti support vehicles.
•
'The road will follow the existing powerline road, except for that segme~lt from
the top of drainage over to the topsoil stocig~ile. For the road paralleling the
powerline, the topsoil will be bladed to either side of the road and temporarily
stoclq~iled until the project is om~leted.
After the topsoiling project utilizing stockpiles 26/27-51 has been ca~leted,
the access road will be reclaimed. Prior to removal of the culvert, the fill
material will be redistributed. the road and fill material will be regraded to
blend in with the ~u-r~*~?Tlg topography. 'The stockpiled or windrow topsoil
will be redistributed over the road, and the area will be seeder with the
pastureland seed mixture. Likewise, the vacant area of the topsoil stockpile
will be seeded with the pastureland seed mixture.

MR 90-54 Permit Renewal 780-107-1(a) Revised 07/16/90
