During 1988, Twentymile Goal Cong~any will begin utilizing the P.M: Hay Site as a <br />shop/maintenance area for the operation of the Foidel Creeek Mine. The aooess road leading <br />to the shop area will join with the Foidel GYeek Mine S~sface Facilities. The location of <br />•the access road is shown on Permit Renewal Map 4, Mine Plan, Roads, Power Lines and <br />Facilities. <br />The P.M. Bay has been transferred to Twentymile Coal Company, and TCC will be responsible for <br />permit and reclamation rp~iirrmw„tc. The facility has been removed fran Permit Renewal Map <br />4. The facilities are still shown on the map, except they are removed from the map by <br />carefully readi.rg the legend aryl identifying the symbol that CYCC no longer has liability for <br />the area. In all future references to facilities removed or deleted from the map this <br />convention will be followed. <br />Mine Office Ca~lex <br />The only changes to this area are the addition to the main office completed in 1982 and the <br />installation of a gas per. the laboratory was moved from the Tipple No. 2 Facility to the <br />Mine Office Complex in 1986. The office o~lex has been transferred to ZWentymile Coal <br />Company and TCC will be responsible far permit and reclamation r~»*-~++P*+ts. <br />Tipple No: 2 Facility <br />A stoker coal loadcut facility was constnu,~ted in 1986. The details relati~ to the stoker <br />.facility can be found on pages 780-35, 780-35(a), and Ppsmit Renewal Map 5. Also, a portion <br />of the ~,;pment Parking lot will be utilized as an alternate location for the stoker and <br />employee coal stockpiles, respectively. <br />In order to allow for car top sampling of loaded railroad cars, a sampling tower and truck <br />parking area will be constructed on the northeastern end of the train tunnel. The <br />construction will oocis in a previously disturbed area, and will be located within an <br />existing small area exemption site. The location of the tower and parking area is shv„m on <br />Permit Renewal Map No. 5, Mine Plan, Roads, Power Lines and Facilities. <br />Access into the sampling tower will be via the railroad tracks. Vehicles will either drive <br />throuc)h the runnel, or fran the intersection of the office access road and railroad tracks, <br />into the site. They will leave via the same mites. It is anticipated that the majority of <br />the access will be thrax~i the tunnel, aryl the other route used only on an emergency basis. <br />The sampliriq tower will be approximately 23 feet in height, and apprnaim3tely 5' X 7'. A <br />sampling platform will extend fran the tower over the car top. A sample spitter will be <br />installed arcl five drums will be placed on a platform ~+*+~7P*~ath the splitter.
