<br /> <br />EXHIBIT D - RECLAMATION PLAN <br />HOPEMORE SHAFT AREA <br />n <br />u <br />The Hopemore Shaft area with the proposed future second <br />exit shaft will result in not over two acres of actual <br />surface disturbance. <br />Proposed final reclamation would include the following <br />procedures: <br />1. Remove machinery, buildings, headframes, utilities <br />and fences. <br />2. Construct a permanent bulkhead with a vent in the <br />Hopemore Shaft and second exit shaft. Proposed <br />bulkhead material would be steel reinforced con- <br />Crete a minimum of 8" thick. <br />3. Cover and fill concrete exposed with a minimum of <br />20" of fill, including at least 12" of topsoil for <br />adequate seeding and re-vegetation as recommended <br />by the U.S.D.A Soil Conservation Service. A copy <br />of the information provided by the U.S.D.A. Soil <br />Conservation Service is enclosed. <br />4. Grade and contour the mine waste rock disposal area <br />to conform with the natural contour of the terrain, <br />using a maximum slope of one vertical to three feet <br />horizontal as a final grade. <br />5. Cover and grade the mine waste rock disposal area <br />with at least 12" of topsoil for adequate seeding <br />
