The Applicant is in the process of constructing a mill <br />facility on the Plma Placer for the treatment and process of <br />gold and silver and related ores. The initial facility is <br />contemplated to have a capacity to treat up to 50 tons of ore <br />per day with a future possible expansion of up to 200 tons per <br />day capacity. <br />6. That the location of the well is outside the <br />boundaries of a designated grouhd water basin. <br />9. That the Applicant proposes to apply the water <br />diverted from the well to the following beneficial uses: <br />Domestic, commercial and industrial with no irrigation. <br />10. The proposed maximum pumping rate of the well is 15 <br />gallons per minute. <br />11. That the proposed annual amount of ground water to be <br />appropriated by the well is 24 acre feet. <br />12. That under the proposed new uses the well would no <br />longer be exempt under C.R.S. 37-92-602. <br />13. That the existing well was constructed under permit <br />No. 117842 for exempt domestic uses. The Applicant proposes to <br />increase and expand the use of the well to include commercial <br />and industrial use in an ore milling operation. <br />14. The Applicant proposes to replace to the Arkansas <br />River system, all out of priority depletions caused by pumping <br />the well. <br />15. That 5.74 acre feet of water will be consumptively <br />used. This figure is based on the evaporation from three acres <br />of tailing ponds which would be part of tine proposed operation. <br />16.
