3-3 <br />Salt Creek will reclaim the surface of the area and create small <br />• pockets and other water-retaining configurations so that <br />revegetation will be enhanced. <br />3.1.3 Slurry Ponds <br />Prior to backfilling the slurry ponds, all slurry as well as the <br />bentonite liner will be removed to the refuse disposal area. The <br />ponds will then be backfilled with material from the railroad <br />bypass road. The area will then be topsoiled and prepared for <br />revegetation. <br />3.1.9 Sedimentation Reservoir <br />• Prior to reclamation of the refuse disposal area, any accumulation <br />of sediment will be cleaned as part of the normal operational <br />process. This will leave a clean sediment pond prior to <br />reclamation efforts in the central area. When adequate <br />revegetation progress in the central area has occurred, the <br />sediment pond will be recontoured, the discharge structures <br />removed, and the area topsoiled. Any sediment realized during <br />reclamation efforts will be in runoff from retopsoiled areas <br />there-fore, it would be adequate to use for recontouring the <br />sediment pond. <br />• <br />3.1.5 Parking Lot, Supply Yard and Roads <br />All asphaltic pavement in the central area will be removed and <br />1/17/86 <br />
