3-8 <br />3.2.2 Reclamation - General <br />~J <br />Reclamation details contained in this permit application serve to <br />augment those preveously approved in the original Munger Canyon <br />Mine Petmit, C-020-81. The reclamation details are described in <br />Section 3 of the original permit. Specific details of the <br />original permit include techniques to enhance the moisture <br />retention of reclaimed areas. In addition of those techniques, <br />final grading of the disturbances will be amended to further <br />augment moisture retention. <br />All grading will be done on the contour where possible. Where <br />such a situation would not be safe, quick growing grasses will be <br />established by broadcasting for protection against erosion and <br />siltation. Such final grading will provide furrows created by the <br />dozer tracks (several inches deep), which in combination with the <br />rough state of the reclaimed slope and the mulch (see Section <br />3.3.9 ) will enhance moisture retention and reduce erosion during <br />reclamation. <br />• <br />1/17/86 <br />
