<br />~nks and Gesso, LLC <br />Based on physical examination of the site, the Applicant estimates that 60,000 <br />cubic yards of topsoil and overburden remain from historic mining activity, placed <br />generally in the southwest quadrant of the site. Residual alluvial material is <br />estimated at 7 to 13 feet in thickness, above claystone bedrock. <br />The primary commodity to be recovered by this mining operation will be alluvial <br />sand and gravel.
