TEL:1-303-629-9335 llec 07.95 14:24 No .001 P.02 <br />3.05.6.3.2 SURFACE WATER (conttnnedl <br />Originally, two collcction ditches were planned to deliver runoff from the disturbed <br />area to the sediment pond: one each for the mining areas east and west of Engleville <br />Gulch. The original design ditches are shown on Exhibit KK. Since mining ceased in <br />1993, only that area west of Engleville Gulch was disturbed, therefore only this west <br />collection ditch, called Collection Ditch #1, was installed. Originally, four crossings <br />were contemplated, however, only one road crossing was utilized -the crossing for the <br />topsoil stockpile access road across Collection Ditch #I and Engleville Gulch. As <br />shown in Exhibit KK-l, this crossing was made by utilizing a shallow Swale. The <br />crossing has now hecn reclaimed and is well-vegetated as of the end of 1995. <br /> <br />Revised for pormit renewal 11/17/95 <br />i~i <br />
